DR. JOSEPH KIMANI
DNP, PMHNP-BC,
Dr. Joseph Kimani, DNP, PMHNP-BC, serves as the CEO and Founder of Restorative-Psych Wellness Center. He holds ANCC Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in New Jersey. Dr. Kimani specializes in family psychiatry and addiction treatment, boasting extensive experience across all age groups, from children and adolescents to adults and geriatric patients, dealing with a spectrum of psychiatric and mental health disorders.
Operating across multiple facilities and agencies, Dr. Kimani is contracted to provide comprehensive care to patients facing psychiatric challenges. His expertise encompasses conditions such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar spectrum disorders, depression, anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and social anxiety/phobia, as well as posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), body dysmorphic disorder, and eating disorders. Furthermore, he is adept in managing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in both children and adults, among other mental health conditions.
In addition to his psychiatric practice, Dr. Kimani holds certification in opioid addiction treatment and possesses a DEA waiver to prescribe Suboxone, a primary intervention for opioid addiction. He also offers Vivitrol injection therapy as an alternative treatment modality for opioid dependence. Dr. Kimani is also trained in psychotherapy, augmenting his psychiatric services with therapeutic counseling to provide holistic care to his patients.
DR. MARY NDUNGU
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, MSN, APRN, PMHNP BC, DNP
Dr. Mary Ndungu, is the CEO for Restorative Psych LLC DBA Restorative Psych Wellness Center AZ Office. Prior to Restorative Psych, Mary was working for Medical City McKinney Mental Health Inpatient Center for the past 10 years. Dr. Ndungu is currently an ANCC board certified Doctor of Nursing Practice that has inpatient and outpatient experience treating children, adolescents, adult, and geriatric patients. She evaluates, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions through prescribing and managing medication and is also a trained psychotherapist, and besides psychiatric services, she also spends time with patients offering therapeutic counseling. She is Licensed in both the states of Arizona and Texas.
Dr. Ndungu works in several facilities and agencies, where she is contracted to treat patients with psychiatric/ mental illness spectrum. She treats patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar spectrum, depression, and anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), Social anxiety/phobia, phobias, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), body dysmorphia, eating disorders, children, and adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) among other disorders.

Dr. She is a member of ANCC. She has been recognized for her personal and professional achievements many times.
